acquisition (buy-side mandates) - in seeking the best strategy for expansion, an acquisition often comes up as a preponderant option. However, the decision to start an acquisition process of companies should be a result of careful strategic planning.
Buying the wrong company at the wrong moment might cause irreparable damage to the acquiring company's health. Moreover, the juridical structuring of the operation deserves special care, given the many ways in which an asset can be acquired and its taxation and patrimonial aspects worked out.
